The out-of-hours medical service for non-emergency cases. Call 1770 first — a nurse or doctor triages by phone. You may be directed to Læknavaktin on Smáratorg or given advice over the phone. Available evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays. In Reykjavik, there is also the Akuþjónustan (Acute Care Service) at Fossvogi clinic.
