🏛️ Social Contributions
Mandatory pension contribution on gross salary for formal employees.
Voluntary top-ups are possible but need pension/tax advice.
🛒 VAT Rates
Reduced 8% applies to selected essentials such as water, electricity, grains, dairy, books, IT equipment and medical goods. VAT registration threshold is commonly EUR 30,000 annual turnover.
