Puerto Rico has numerous urgent care centres in San Juan metro (Bayamón, Carolina, Caguas) and regional towns. For non-emergency after-hours care, urgent care centres are preferable to ERs.

Most urgent care centres open 7 days a week, typically 8am–9pm.
