How to call emergency services in Slovenia
112 is the universal emergency number — connects to police, fire, and ambulance. Operators speak Slovenian; English assistance is generally available. State your location clearly (address, nearest landmark, or GPS coordinates), nature of the emergency, number of people involved. 112 works from any phone without a SIM card. For police non-emergencies use 113. Mountain rescue: call 112 and state "gorska reševalna služba" needed.
