The Bahamas 2026 key changes: VAT 10% standard rate continues, with basic unprepared foods now 0% VAT from April 2026; NIB rates at 4.65% employee / 6.65% employer (ceiling ~BSD 810/week through June 2026, rising to ~BSD 830/week from July 2026); minimum wage BSD 6.50/hour unchanged; Economic Permanent Residency threshold BSD 1,000,000 with 10-year hold.
