Contribution Overview
There is no universal employee social contribution rate in Bangladesh. Payroll deductions are mainly income tax (PAYE), provident fund where offered, and employer-specific benefits. There is no mandatory state social insurance contribution for most workers.
International Social Security Agreements
Bangladesh has no comprehensive social-security totalisation network. Most expats maintain home-country pension/NI/Social Security planning independently. Bilateral labour agreements exist with some countries but do not typically provide social-security contribution portability.
