Lycée Albert 1er is Monaco's sole public lycée — it serves the entire Monaco secondary-age resident population. The Lycée offers French Baccalauréat (Bac général, Bac technologique), the European Baccalauréat option, and vocational options (Bac professionnel). The school is modern, well-funded, and multilingual. For the French Bac, Monaco students sit French national exams — results are comparable to strong French lycées.

International Schools

Monaco has one dedicated international school within its borders: the International School of Monaco (ISM, ismonaco.org) — offering IB PYP, MYP, Diploma, and Career-related Programmes from age 3 to 18, taught entirely in English. Fees (2025/26): approximately €7,700–28,350/year depending on age/programme (some sources indicate up to ~€32,800 for senior years); confirm at ismonaco.org. ISM is the primary choice for anglophone expat families.
