Digital Services

Digital ID, e-government and essential apps in Saint Kitts and Nevis.

National ID and government digital credentials

Saint Kitts and Nevis does not have a unified digital identity system. Citizens and residents use national ID, passport and work permit documents for government, banking and healthcare access. E-government services through gov.kn are improving but require in-person follow-up for most processes.

How to get it: After lawful residence or employment is established, register with Social Security, Inland Revenue and the Immigration Department using your passport and relevant permits.

Coverage is fragmented across department websites. Always verify whether an online submission still requires original documents, payment receipt or in-person follow-up at Basseterre or Charlestown offices.
