Process: Submit certified copies of degrees and transcripts, with English translation if not already in English. Some employers and professional boards request third-party credential evaluations from internationally recognised services (WES, ECE, or similar NACES members). For healthcare: degrees from CAAM-HP or ACCM-accredited Caribbean institutions carry regional recognition.
Equivalency service: No single local academic equivalency portal. For internationally portable assessment: WES (wes.org) and ECE (ece.org) are internationally recognised NACES-member evaluators. Document Rules
Apostille: Saint Kitts and Nevis is a Hague Apostille Convention member (since 14 December 1994). Foreign public documents from Hague-member countries must bear an apostille issued by the competent authority in the issuing country before submission to Saint Kitts and Nevis authorities.
Legalisation: For documents from non-Hague countries: full consular legalisation required — authentication by home country Ministry of Foreign Affairs, then by the Saint Kitts and Nevis High Commission or Embassy in that country (or the nearest competent diplomatic mission).
Sworn translation: Non-English documents should be accompanied by a certified translation into English by a translator whose credentials are accepted by the receiving authority. Keep both the original and the translation for all submissions.
