Contribution Overview
Employee deductions from payroll include: (1) Income tax at 20% flat rate. (2) Funded pension contribution for employees born on or after 1 January 1974: 5% of gross salary up to AMD 500,000/month; (10% minus AMD 25,000) for salaries AMD 500,001–1,125,000; capped at AMD 87,500/month above AMD 1,125,000. State budget co-finances the pension; employers do not pay a separate social security contribution. (3) Military service fee: AMD 1,000/month for monthly salary up to AMD 1,000,000; AMD 15,000/month above AMD 1,000,000 (reduced rates effective December 2025). International Social Security Agreements
Armenia has social-security coordination with some countries but not a universal network. Ask your home pension authority and Armenian accountant before assuming periods combine.
