Paraguay is relationship-driven, so referrals are valuable, but still demand written quotes, receipts and clear separation between government fees and service fees. Keep scans of every document and WhatsApp instruction.
Language options: English-speaking professionals exist in Asuncion, but Spanish remains the legal language. For anything involving immigration, tax, property or courts, insist on a Spanish document review and translated explanation.
