👶 Childcare & Kindergarten
Partial subsidy available through the Ministeri d'Educació for CASS-registered families based on income. Subsidy reduces cost to €200–500/month for eligible families.

🏫 Schools
Contact the Ministeri d'Educació i Ensenyament Superior (educacio.ad) or the relevant school system's coordination office. Bring child's birth certificate, residence permit, health records, and vaccination history. Expat children are placed based on language ability — assessment may be required.
Direct continuation from primary in the same system. New arrivals assessed for language and prior curriculum alignment. Batxillerat (Andorran baccalaureate) recognised for Andorran and Spanish university entry. French Baccalauréat from the lycée français accepted in France.
🌍 International Schools
Andorra has two established English-medium international schools offering the International Baccalaureate. The British College of Andorra (britishcollegeandorra.com) is an IB World School serving ages 3–17 with an English-medium blend of EYFS, British National Curriculum, and IB Diploma Programme; 2026/27 annual tuition EUR 9,360–15,656, plus a EUR 2,860 admission fee. Agora Andorra International School (agoraandorra.com) offers IB Primary Years Programme and IB Diploma Programme from nursery (age 0) to age 18, with a boarding option for ages 9–18; 2026/27 annual tuition EUR 7,720–27,650. Both schools teach Spanish, Catalan, and French alongside English. The French public system (Lycée Comte de Foix and Lycée Voltaire) and the Spanish system (Institut Espanyol) are free government-funded options. Families without access to expat allowances typically use the trilingual Andorran, Spanish, or French public systems, supplementing with English private tutoring.
🎓 University
Apply directly to the Universitat d'Andorra (uda.ad) or through Spanish/French university systems. Andorran Batxillerat and French Baccalauréat are accepted for entry. UdA offers bachelor's and master's programmes primarily in: nursing, business, computing, and education. Most Andorran students also access Spanish universities (Lleida, Barcelona, Girona) and French universities (Toulouse, Perpignan) without visa requirements.
🗣️ Language Courses
Free Catalan courses are offered to all Andorran residents — strongly recommended. Catalan is the official language and basic proficiency is expected for daily life and administrative dealings. Evening courses available for working adults.
French is widely used in Andorra, especially near the French border and in Pas de la Casa. Alliance Française has no Andorran branch — online or cross-border sessions.
English tutoring and group courses available. Useful for expats from non-English-speaking countries wishing to improve English for international business contexts.
