Visa-Free Access

ASEAN member states (Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) receive 30-day visa-free entry. Additionally, select countries including Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, and some others receive visa-free access. Eligibility

Foreign nationals aged 18+ who work remotely for employers or clients based entirely outside Indonesia. Minimum annual income of USD 60,000 (approximately USD 5,000/month) from foreign sources required. Income must not come from Indonesian companies or clients.

7–14 business days via imigrasi.go.id or authorised immigration agent

✓Valid passport (minimum 6 months remaining)
✓Employment contract with foreign employer OR freelance contracts with foreign clients (confirming all income is from outside Indonesia)
✓Proof of annual income of at least USD 60,000 (bank statements for last 3–6 months, payslips, or tax returns)
