Required for all non-Gibraltarian residents. Must be valid for the duration of your stay. UK citizens and BOTC holders: British passport is the primary identity document in Gibraltar.
Issued to Gibraltarian citizens and qualifying ordinarily resident persons. The GID card is the primary ID for Gibraltarians. Non-Gibraltarian residents typically use passport as primary ID.

Required for pet relocation into Gibraltar. Since Brexit: standard GB-format pet health certificate (AHC) for entry from EU. Microchip + rabies vaccination + tapeworm treatment records. Gibraltar is rabies-free — requirements are strictly enforced.
Sector-specific — required for financial services (GFSC authorisation), legal practice (Gibraltar Bar), medicine (GHA registration), and other regulated professions. Apply to the relevant Gibraltar regulatory authority before commencing work.
📜 What is an Apostille?
An apostille is an official certification that validates a document for international use. It is issued by a designated authority in the country where the document was issued (usually a court or government office). Required for documents from Hague Convention member states.
🌍 Certified Translations
Certified translations must be done by a sworn/authorised translator. In Gibraltar, only translations by officially registered translators are accepted by government offices. Keep originals — they may be returned after verification.
