Academic Degrees
Authority: UK degrees are broadly recognised by Gibraltar employers and institutions without formal assessment — the UK National Qualifications Framework applies directly in Gibraltar. For non-UK/non-EU degrees, the relevant Gibraltar professional body or employer assesses equivalency.

Document Rules
Apostille: Apostille under the Hague Convention is accepted for documents from member states. Request from the authority that issued the document (ministry of education or foreign affairs in your country of qualification).
Legalisation: For non-Hague Convention countries, full legalisation via the relevant embassy may be required. Check with the Gibraltar body requesting the document.
